PULSAR-MR Radio for Unmanned Aircraft

PULSAR airborne transponder is designed for installation in unmanned aerial vehicles to ensure remote identification, air traffic surveillance, cooperation with airborne detection system, to avoid collisions, and to provide standby C2 channel.

Features:

For the purpose of remote identification, the unit ensures transmission of the following data in ADS-B messages:

  • Identification
  • Aircraft category (UAV)
  • Aircraft position
  • Flight altitude
  • 24-bit code

ADS-B transmitter pulse power:

  • at least 10W at 1090MHz
  • at least 2W at VHF

For the purpose of surveillance, the unit receives air traffic data on ADS-B channels (1090ES + VDL4).

Support for data interfacing with UAVs.

Optional power supply from UAV onboard power system.

Optional independent operation from embedded power source during UAV flight.
