ATCO Consoles Series 6 type testing was carried out at the manufacturing site of the company on 25 April.
The committee comprising representatives of branch of “State ATM Corporation” Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Aero navigation of North-West”, Federal State Unitary Enterprise GosNII GA, Military Representative Office of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the company specialists have examined the consoles samples, design and operating documentation as well as the draft of new specification. The Consoles Series 6 were highly praised by the controllers of Saint Petersburg ATC centre according to results of human-engineering based analysis and design analysis.
The type testing was successful and confirmed absolute readiness to supply new series consoles to sites. Application filing to receive type certificate at The Federal Air Transport Agency and the production prototype patenting process initiation is scheduled for the nearest future.
The newly designed consoles have been made as part of independent development and occupied the central place of the company exposition at World ATM Congress 2019.
