Grand opening of a new Tower in Roshchino airport of Tyumen took place on 25 of September, 2024.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, A.A. Potemkin, Director General of the State ATM Corporation, A.A. Bulin, and representatives of Ural Interregional Territorial Department of FAVT, Tyumen regional and city administrations.
Director of Central Siberia Air Navigation Branch of the State ATM Corporation, A.P. Zubov, greeted the audience and reported on the project implementation, features, difficulties and successful completion. All the speakers highly appreciated quality of the work performed and process equipment of the domestic manufacturer.
On behalf of NITA Company Executive Director, D.Y.Voevodin, spoke at the event about participation of the company’s specialists from the stage of developing technical specifications and designing to installation and commissioning of all systems to ensure air traffic services in Roshchino terminal area. There was expressed an intention to continue cooperation in further promising Tower equipment projects in the region.
Within “Construction of Tower in Tyumen Airport” project NITA executed the work to equip Tyumen ATM Center with new ATM system, and provided dismantling and installation of radio technical facilities from Tyumen Regional ATM Center to the new Tower. Transition of Tyumen terminal control center to work in the new Tower equipped with up-to-date ATM system took place in January 2024. Prior to the official opening during test period all systems of the complex have demonstrated high performance operation with no findings identified.
On behalf of the directorate of North Siberia Air Navigation branch NITA and personally the project manager A.P. Prokaev were presented with appreciation letters for fruitful cooperation and high quality of work to equip the new Tower in Tyumen.
